The 31st Bucks Open Studios is the biggest to date. The event, which takes place from the 10 June – 25 June, sees over 500 artists and makers from painters, glass workers, basket weavers and metal workers to wood turners, jewellery makers, ceramicists, photographers, book makers, and print makers put on free demonstrations, exhibitions and workshops.
Eclectic painter and community artist, Barbara Sedassy ( Bottom left) is deeply into stories; she celebrates colour and line and loves the way it sings together Barbara studied at St Albans Falmouth and Chelsea Schools of Art.
Barbara enjoys painting movement and her work is mainly figurative and about colour and she is influenced by Bonnard, Bacon, Buber, Beethoven, family, friends, cows, clowns, theatre and W B Yeats
Barbara opens her studio doors at Stelling, 66 Quickley Lane, WD3 5AF. Visitors will be treated to home-made biscuits as well as feast of colour and children can get actively involved in crafts in the garden
