Comedy Night – 21 Jan..SOLD OUT!

Out of Bounds Comedy heads this way again in January for a Chorleywood Common Youth FC fundraiser. The line up features Nathan Caton and Chris Betts, is headlined by Steve Williams and compered by Danny Ward.

Welshman Steve is renowned for his larger than life physicality and energy

“I move around the stage a bit, nothing like Lee Evans – he’s like a great dane in a telephone box”

Williams, who teams up regularly with Russ Howard (“I’ve worked on Good News, written a film with him and we played Edinburgh last summer”) is extremely happy with his lot.

“It’s a privilege to get paid for haring round the country and enjoying myself.”
As for the comedians he rates most..“Daniel Kitson, he is phenomenal. Tim Vine is wonderfully mad. Last summer I noticed there was a circle of paint missing on his car bonnet – it’d been so hot he tried frying an egg on it!”

As for Willliams’s gig material, “the recent paradigm shift in the world” means his sights are firmly fixed on the U.S President Elect and Brexiteers. Plus some “perfectly scripted impro!”. And he’s been doing his Chorleywood research so be warned… the front row is best avoided.  Comedy Night, Sat 21 Jan, Memorial Hall.  £13
