The first community golf competition was held at Chorleywood Golf Club on Sunday 22 October.
Teams included John Roberts. Sewell and Gardner, Van Hage, Rose and Crown, Land of Liberty, Chorleywood Tennis Club, CW Cricket Club, Chenies Cricket Club, St Andrew’s Church and Jigsaw Construction “The winners were from St Andrew’s Church” says organiser Mark Fowler, “The team had been entered by keen golfer Ranald Bain who sadly passed away suddenly in September but his friends decided to play on in his memory and won the cup!”
