Composer Andrew Gant comes to Chorleywood to tell the story of carols. The author, who has directed the choirs of Worcester College, Oxford and Her Majesty’s Chapel Royal in London, delves into the history of favourites like Good King Wenceslas, Away in a Manger and The Twelve Days of Christmas. Through lyrics and music he unravels tales of great musicians and thinkers, saints and pagans, shepherd boys, choirboys, monks and drunks in the process.
