Chorleywood in Bloom has been a huge success in brightening up the village, so we hoped that in conjunction with the Parish Council something could be done to improve the unsightly area outside Hetheringtons and the haphazard plantings along the Parade. Unfortunately, the Policy and Resources Committee have decided that the Council is not in a position to commit further time and resources to this proposal at this time. However, they say that they will encourage and support the Residents’ Association or any other organisation who wish to take on the project.
We feel this is worth pursuing and welcome ideas from residents as to how we might draw up plans and fund the improvements. Please send your thoughts or ideas to secretary@chorleywoodresidents.co.uk.
