Watford Palace Theatre (WPT) is a 21st century producing theatre, making new work across the art forms of theatre, dance, outdoor arts and digital, and developing audiences, artists and communities through exciting opportunities to participate.

History

When Watford Palace Theatre opened on the 14th Decemer 1908 it was a Music Hall entitled The Watford Palace of Varieties.

The theatre remained in private hands until 1965’s when it re-opened as a Civic theatre.

It has various facelifts and additions over the years but retains its original charm and is currently a Grade II listed building.
