Chorleywood’s Annual Classic and Supercar Show is held on Chorleywood Common in July.  The show has gone from strength to strength, both in terms of the number of cars displayed, visitors to the show and funds raised for charity.

“What started as an informal gathering for local car enthusiasts has evolved in to a top class show that draws not just local enthusiasts, but, increasingly, those from further afield.” says Chorleywood resident and show founder/organiser, Guy Davis, “We had over 200 cars on display and the quality and range was exceptional, from high value 1960’s Ferraris and Jaguars (including a D Type that visited on the way home after racing at Silverstone), a beautiful white Healey Silverstone  through to examples from very small volume manufacturers such as Trident and Armstrong Siddeley.

The great thing about classic cars is that it doesn’t matter whether you own a vintage Rolls Royce or much cherished Mini, they bring enthusiasts together.  So this isn’t just about the cars, but also about the community.  The fact that we have also raised money for Help for Heroes and for the Cricket Club, is a bonus.”
