Blag Theatre Company celebrate 20 years of  their Christmas shows at The Pump House Theatre, Watford.

The local theatre company,  that run popular summer schools in Chorleywood Memorial Hall, stage a lively Christmas revue every December at The Pump House.

The shows uniquely parody all things festive and topical and have become part of many local families’ Christmas ritual.

This year’s production, Jingle all the Way, written by Blag founders and leaders Richard and Lynn Beaumont, features a five-strong cast, including the Beaumonts.

“For families looking for something a bit more on-point than pantomime, then this is it!” says Richard Beaumont, “This year’s show will target everything from Christmas fancy dress parties, West End shows, gender swapping, the NHS and even Brexit, to a parody of a Kids’ Pantomime, Meghan Markles’ wedding and a take on that old family favourite The Sound of Music. Add to that a generous sprinkle of audience games and you have the perfect recipe of a great night out.”
