Christ Church are hosting an art show at The Junction to celebrate creativity in our community
Work by Anna Kulos, Barbara Sedassy, the Birchwood Painters* Sarah Naylor-Smith, Alison Trimbee, Laz Erdel-Jan plus Debbie and Mollie Bloomfield will be on show . Mollie’s paintings includes Murphy of the National Animal Welfare Trust, Watford where she works as a volunteer while Debbie displays her wacky crocheted monsters. People can design their own monster to be made for them
“ This is our second summer exhibition” says Debbie Bloomfield. “ it features an eclectic mix of works from artists who have a connection with Christ Church. We’re putting the exhibition together as a real ‘something for everyone’ event!
On Village Day cream teas will be available from 2pm-4.30pm in aid of Playskill and the church will be open from10am -4.30pm for those who’d like to look around.”
* The Birchwood Painters is a collective of Chesham-based talented artists disabled through cerebral palsy. Their Studio is supported by 5 volunteers including local artist Barbara Sedassy.

Heads Together – an initiative made up of 6 inspiring mental health charities working for better services and tackling stigma, raising awareness and providing help for people with mental health challenges
Playskill – a local charity that runs parent and child term-time groups for pre-school children with special physical needs
National Animal Welfare Trust – a Watford rescue and re-homing centre providing a safe haven for over 400 animals a year. Providing boarding since the 30s it was advertised as a safe place to evacuate pets from London in WW2 to avoid the Blitz.
