Following a lively Three Rivers Youth Council meeting last October, children from Christ Church School approached Councillor Alex Michaels, Youth Council Chair and Young Persons’ Champion, to share their views on a proposed Chorleywood play area, later dubbed Wonder Wood.

As a result, a follow up meeting was arranged with the local school Youth Councils in Chorleywood where the children debated and discussed ideas and finally voted unanimously to produce a short video to showcase their thoughts on the project.

In February, twenty eight children from the four schools: Arnett Hills, Chorleywood Primary, Christ Church and The Russell took part in producing a film for the local community where they discussed a range of topics including facilities. wildlife, location and safety .

The film will be officially launched at the next Youth Council meeting on the 20 June at Watersmeet and can be viewed after this date on 3RDC website
