Emma Moore, Dispensing Technician at Parade Pharmacy, received an award for her outstanding service at a champagne reception and three course lunch at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane in June. Emma was one of three finalists from hundreds of nominees in her category for the Recognition of Excellence Awards run by Training Matters Pharmacy Magazine. This was for pharmacy employees nationwide with varying roles in the business from technicians and dispensing assistants to delivery drivers .

Emma, who has worked at Parade for 22 years, is passionate about her job.
“We get to know our customers and really care about them. Working at Parade Pharmacy is about sorting out people’s medical needs but also recognising when they need to see a GP, adding a personal touch and taking time to reassure them provides them with the best service.I really missed the people when I took a year out.”
This is the second pat-on-the-back for Parade – they were the first pharmacy in Hertfordshire to be awarded “Healthy Living Pharmacy’
