Jonathon swims for Level Water

Jonathon Stephen is, in his own words, the least active person in his family. After an over- indulgent weekend with a group of Dads last January he decided it was time to step up his activity level.

“My buddy Richard Barkas is a keen open water swimmer – he usually swims in the Denham Lakes and he was kind enough to encourage me to join him. When I started seven months ago I could barely manage 100 metres and six months later I have managed to increase my range to 6Km ! I thought it would be an idea to meet a challenge for a charity so I am swimming in the Dart 10k on Sunday 10 September for Level Water. The charity provides one to one swimming coaching for disabled children – aiming to maximise participation. The Dart is in a lovely setting and said to be the most scenic outdoor swim in the country, I am looking forward to it …. being able to test my limits – and with such a good cause in mind.

I’m hoping to achieve a target of at least £600″.
