In 2019, two long standing governors of The Russell School, Chorleywood, will complete their term of office and the school is therefore now looking for people to fill these posts.

The Russell School is a strong school with an emphasis on inclusion, valuing every pupil and the staff. The governors and the Headteacher have ambitious plans to deliver ever higher standards of education to the pupils now and into the future. The governing board of the school sets the strategic direction of the school, providing ideas, support and direction to the school, in close collaboration with the Headteacher and staff.

The Russell School is fortunate to have governors from a wide range of backgrounds and skills. We would now like to recruit 2 new governors to continue our work. We welcome people from a wide range of backgrounds, including previous experience in education.

To find out more, please contact Mrs. Claire Pitt, Headteacher and Mr. Doug King, Chair of Governors via head@russell.herts.sch.uk
