Chorleywood Scouts hold its hugely successful used Bike Auction on Saturday 7th May.

You can:

–          Sell your old unwanted adult or child’s bike

–          Buy an adult or child’s bike

–          Raise money for Scouts!

The way it works is very simple….
If you’re selling a bike,  drop it off at Scout HQ in Orchard Drive ( Details below) between 10am – 12pm where you fill out a form and set a reserve price for the bike.  This is the price that you will receive if the bike is sold; Scouts will take any money raised in excess of the reserve.  There is a non-refundable registration fee of £1 for bikes with reserves under £15, and £2 for reserves of £15 and above.  You can of course donate your bike to Scouts for free!  If you don’t have transport available to get a bike to the Scout HQ please call or e-mail Jeremy on 01923 775557 and it  may be possible to arrange a collection.

Finally, remember that clean bikes with pumped up tyres are more likely to sell!  If the bike doesn’t sell, you can collect it at the end of the day.
If you’re buying a bike, come along between 12pm and 2pm for viewing and general tyre kicking.  If you see anything you like, the auction starts at 2pm.
