Dads and Grandads in School Day is now established as a special tradition at Christ Church School. On the Friday before the Mothers Day weekend, Dads and Grandads are invited to spend some quality time with their children and grandchildren making a card together for Mum.
Headteacher Duncan Gauld says “Christ Church School is as much about family as it is about high quality education. This special day is such a lovely opportunity for us as a school to welcome Dads and Grandads into our classrooms so that they can spend some quality time with their children and grandchildren, just chatting and making something meaningful together. In such a busy world, it lifts my spirits to be able to help celebrate the family ties that lie beyong our school family”
