Chorleywood Magazine has teamed up with Watford Recycling Arts Project (WRAP) to challenge young people between the ages of 8yrs and 16yrs to design and create an eco outfit.
The Waste Not Want Not competition is part of RE23, a new community initiative from Chorleywood Community Initiatives and Chorleywood Magazine in association with Chorleywood Parish Council that kicks off with a sustainability fashion show in the Memorial Hall on 25 March
Outfits must be able to be physically worn without falling apart as the winning designs will be modelled on the catwalk.
Garments should be created from any materials that would be discarded . Entrants can visit WRAP in Tolpits Lane, Rickmansworth and rummage through their extensive scrap stock free of charge.
Enter by emailing a photo of the completed outfit design, including the young designer’s name, age and school before Friday 17 March to info@chorleywoodmagazine.co.uk
Shelly & Nikki of Lovedup Reloved will be judging the entries.
Under 8s can enter our RE23 collage competition – entry forms from Chorleywood Bookshop
