Sixth Form Has Been a Ball
It is extremely hard to believe
That our school career has come to an end.
We have learned a lot and grown a lot
And made a lot of friends.
We will say goodbye now summer is here,
It is time for us all to part.
But we’ll remember every moment,
And we’ll treasure it in our heart.
We are thankful for the café,
We came to love it so.
We will miss carol, the toasties, and lattes…
Making us even sadder to go.
Never again will we have to think
About the reasons for why we’re late,
When in doubt, write ‘traffic,’
A reason Annette must by now hate.
Due to merry socials and lively proms
We have most certainly bonded.
Prom was a great laugh this year,
To which the Gatsby theme corresponded.
Indeed, along with our hard studies
There has been vomit, dances and drama,
But as we move on to our new ventures
Our social lives will not get calmer…
Yes, our Uni lives will be a shock:
Both the work and the parties will be crazy,
But the values promoted in Sixth Form
Teach us to embrace this and not be lazy.
So despite the sadness of departure,
We are all yearning to say:
A big Thanks to those special people
Before it’s time for us to go away.
We will miss these individuals:
They constitute the perfect set.
Us Sixth Formers will always remember
The trio of Garvey, Hawkins and Annette
We will now give to them each
Their carefully chosen present;
But nothing can come close to
Their efforts given and time spent.
So Thank You
From us all.
Sixth Form
Has been a ball.
