The traditionally furnished cafe, which has recently been taken over by Tracey Westrip, has a homely atmosphere and serves a cracking piping hot English Breakfast tea from a china teapot as well as coffees and a selection of home-made scones and cakes (recommend the orange brownies served warm with a dollop of clotted cream). If you have time to kill you even can play a game while you wait – plus there’s a Wendy House and a great selection of toys to keep the children occupied. That’s really a case of neighbouring businesses going the extra mile – or few yards.
