Chorleywood joins national Big Garden Birdwatch

The Robinsons have reported seeing 11 different types of birds including woodpecker, robins, blackbird and wren and a group of 4 sparrows. “We even had a red kite fly over the garden” adds Mum Louise

For 7yr old Ben Slatford (below left) his best bit of the hour also involved a red kite which he spotted in the first 5 seconds of the watch. He recorded great tits and robins too and was thrilled to see a green woodpecker.
