A car full of crafters and keen makers from Chorleywood headed for Uxbridge recently in search of a fabric warehouse that had been recommended to them by a film set designer friend. Fabric Warehouse more than met their expectations.
” We were like kids in a sweet shop” says Liz Lane, ”
“Upstairs there’s a hive of women making the most fantastic things” adds Jenny Emery, “some of the makes are for sale. it’s very craft orientated although there is some curtain and dress fabric. There was fabric on display with Lodon buses and the london Eye – my two year old grandaughter loves London buses so I ordered some. There was a lovely child’s ballet bag decorated with net so it looked like a tutu. It was lovely to see, I was in heaven!”
…and it’s only about a 25 minute drive from Chorleywood
