Amersham Museum is an award winning museum located in a 15th century building in the heart of old Amersham. It is a hidden gem with a collection spanning 2,000 years of local history. The museum’s collection features a large and diverse collection of objects relating to local craft and industry, locally manufactured and produced toys and domestic goods. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Pretty garden. Excellent source for local history.Combine with a spot of Old Town shopping, visit the perfume shop a few doors down, and grab a bite to eat in one of Amersham’s fabulous cafes and restaurants.
