Knowing what to expect when you get to a wood is especially helpful for wheelchair and buggy users. VisitWoods  has been working with organisations  DisabledGo and Fieldfare Trust, to produce access guides for woodlands pinpointing locations of stiles and kissing gates, identifying obstructions and advising on slopes and surfaces that could be problematic. Data has been collected on hand held computers, taking relevant measurements and photographs as well as from talking to a representative of the sites
Wheelchair and pushchair friendly woods near us are

Langley Park, Slough; Heartwood Forest, St Albans; Penn Wood, Beaconsfield and Common Wood, High Wycombe.
