“We had a great trip and enjoyed staying in Lyon and visiting Dardilly for the concert” says Gillian Pugh, ” Some of us stayed with families in Dardilly. Michelle from the Twinning Association took us on a couple of guided walks around the town.
” The concert was a great success. We sang anthems and folk songs by Vaughan Williams, Feel the Spirit by John Rutter and Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz Mass and  also songs by Purcell and Faure with the Dardilly choir.
There was a reception for both choirs after the concert hosted by the Twinning Association. We have invited the Dardilly choir to visit us in Chorleywood some time in the future.”

Chiltern Choir rehearse at 8pm on Tuesdays at the Free Church in Hillside Road, and have an open rehearsal on 16 September – Anyone thinking of joining a choir is welcome
