The Chorleywood and Loudwater Centre is located at the Library in Lower Road
The Centre aims to help parents to promote the learning and development of their children so that when they start school they are ready to learn and on the way to achieving their full potential. Working in partnership with Midwives, Health Visiting Teams, Pre-schools, Nurseries and Schools means that activities and support are available for every family with children aged five or under. Family Outreach workers give extra support on all sorts of family issues from finding childcare, information on other local services, financial guidance such as budgeting, coping in difficult circumstances and adult learning. Postnatal services provided include a breastfeeding café, baby clinic, baby massage, baby yoga, First Aid and Health Visitors offer talks behaviour, sleep, weaning and oral health.
A range of activities are offered at various venues throughout the area to enable as many families as possible to join in.
