Individuals, businesses and groups in Chorleywood, Chenies, Sarratt and Latimer are invited to take part in our first Chorleywood Magazine Scarecrow Trail that will take place from Fri 23 Sept – Sun 25 Sept
MISSION
To make and set up scarecrows over the weekend of Fri 23 Sept – Sun 25 Sept
THEME
Choose something that links the scarecrow to you, your school, business, group, road, family, home, hobby or lifestyle. Get the kids involved, it’s the perfect holiday project
TRAIL
Scarecrows can be positioned in windows and gardens of houses, outside pubs, shops, schools, churches or businesses – anywhere they can be seen by passers by
DEADLINE
Please confirm your intention to enter our Scarecrow Trail by Monday 12 August. email us at info@chorleywoodmagazine.co.uk and you will be sent a form to fill in details
VOTING
There will be SCARECROW TRAIL cards available in selected local shops prior to the Trail weekend which will pinpoint scarecrow locations and double as voting cards
(£1) Profits will go to charity.
The scarecrow receiving the most votes will win an award

Those who have already signed up to take part in the Scarecrow Trail include Chorleywood Bookshop, Van Hage, Cedars Village, Chorleywood Parish Rangers, Chorleywood Arts Centre, Dogs Trust Shop, Chorleywood Primary School, Chorleywood Beavers, The Land of Liberty, The Bedford Arms, Hartbeeps, residents of Heronsgate, Lower Road, Quickley Lane and Blacketts Wood Drive. There can be multiple entrants in any road.
