A group of friends who met at St Clement Danes school are fundraising in memory of their friend Danni Booth who passed away last January. The group who left school in 2012 are hosting a charity dinner on Saturday 25th November in aid of MIND.
“We have chosen this date as it would have been Danni’s birthday on 23rd November” says organiser Emmy Musk, “ In September Lizzy Wade, Rachel Rees and I did a 24 hour, 40+ mile walk through the Lakes – no sleep, just plenty of blisters – perfect for Danni who loved the outdoors! Danni joined SCD in the 6th form and we have some great memories – we went to Malia after exams on a Girls Holiday and all dressed up in Wild West costume on SCD leavers day. We miss Danni so much – we’ve raised £3.716 so far for MIND, the dinner is our next mission.”
