It was another warm day for the French Market ( Sun 7 May) and crowds of Chorleywooders came out to browse and buy from the stalls set up in Main and New Parade. The Normandy traders displayed a wide range of merchandise from cashmere ponchos to bags but the French breads, cheeses, pastries and produce proved firm favourites again with many shoppers stopping to snack in the street
