Early 2014 Chesham had a new skatepark made by Freestyle Skateparks who are the UK’s oldest and largest skatepark design and build company and have made other well known Skateparks such as XC in Hemel Hempstead.
The Chesham park has a wide variety of ramps including a mini half pipe, two jump boxes, a pyramid and a quarter. Overall the park is a pretty sweet park to ride, however it is relatively small and gets busy, so it’s almost impossible to move around the park. There’s the old skatepark in Chesham too which is made up of two wooden ramps which is a 9ft half pipe and a 7ft quarter pipe. The easiest way to get to Chesham’s skatepark from Chorleywood is to get the Metropolitan line train to Chesham station and then walk which only takes 5 minutes.
