Chorleywood is taking part again in the World’s biggest coffee morning on 26 September.
Organised by Macmillan Cancer Support, the Coffee morning is their biggest fundraising event and coffee is served in all sorts of venues all over the country from coffee shops and church halls to schools and theatres as well as sitting rooms with all proceeds going to the charity.
Who’s taking part near us?
St Clement Danes Sixth Form is holding a coffee morning for staff and sixth form, with cakes being made my sixth formers.
The Peppermill and Morgan’s Deli are both hosting a coffee morning.
The Hidden Tea Shop, Little Chalfont
Helen Stone of Stone’s Fitness will be making homemade healthy bars and fruit kebabs to have on the Common after the Friday 9.15-10.15 session on the 26th and is encouraging clients attending studio sessions on the day to contribute to the cause.
Aylesbury Waterside Theatre ( HP20 1UG) – Their coffee morning (10.30am – 12.30pm) includes a ‘Bake off’ the day before.
Melissa Scott from 9am in Gallery opposite studio at Great Hall Farm, Chenies. Coffee, cake and free access Chenies Manor gardens until 12 noon. Donations to the charity !
