Chorleywood Cricket Club is planning a major overhaul of their half-century old pavilion.
“Flexibility and a sympathetic design are prime considerations” says Rick Harragin, project coordinator. “We need to raise over £100,000 but sports related funding is now difficult to secure so most money will need to come from the community. If we fail to raise the cash we will have to continue with costly short term patch and repair jobs instead which would be a real shame.“
The project is timed to coincide with lease renewal negotiations.
