Heronsgate residents had their annual Stir Up in the Villlage Hall over the weekend. Much fun was had by all. The pudding mixers got into the Christmas spirit by donning Santa hats and there was even a young reindeer in charge of a spoon. Stir-up Sunday is the customary day for family members to take a turn at stirring the Christmas pudding whilst making a wish. Traditionally the day is a month before Christmas day, the last Sunday of the Church Year, so the flavours have plenty of time to develop before Christmas.
