The 22 year old has been shortlisted for Miss Hertfordshire, which is potentially three steps away from Miss World, via Miss England and Miss UK. As part of the competition she has to raise money for the charity Beauty with a Purpose in the run up to the finals. She chose to walk the ‘Monopoly Board.

“It was amazing ! “I wanted to do something different for fundraising. I started at Old Kent Road, finished at Fleet St and even went to the Water Works (which was actually McDonalds toilets!)

The whole walk took 8 hours and I was really hurting but it was worth it! My friend Jc Andrews came with me. We were so lucky with the weather.  We didn’t even stop for lunch and literally collapsed at the end. I have made about £300 so far on my Virgin Money page and more through donations at the salon and money is still coming in! My ultimate aim is to raise £1000”
