Children who are already signed up for shadowing the Blue Peter Book Awards are meeting weekly at the Library (Saturdays 10am – 11am) to discuss the shortlisted books they have been reading, then will vote for their own favourites and see if the Blue Peter judges agree.
“We read six books in six weeks, three fiction and three non-fiction and get together to talk about them” says reading group organiser Penny Pugh “The group goes on until 27 Feb and there are a few places still so any children joining now can pick up the next book.”
