A group of Herts based musicians have come together to make an album to support SANE Mental Health Charity. The project, officially launched this month, is the brainchild of Jim Kirby.
“There are so many fundraising festivals, concerts or gigs for charity but I wanted to help people through music over a longer lasting timescale.” says Jim. ” The goal is to produce albums with a collection of tracks from the most talented, enjoyable but most of all honest and heartfelt musicians of Hertfordshire. Not one artist will make money from the sales (physical nor digital) of these Volumes but the money will be donated to SANE mental health charity to support their 24 hour support teams. Our target is £1000 – which can give 200 people 30 minutes each consultation through SANE. ”
Blues from the Herts, £10 for 15 tracks. Available digitally by the end of May and physically in the second week of June.
