With Mary Berry and Bob the Cat visiting the Hood in one week Chorleywood Bookshop really have excelled themselves on their celeb book signings. 
Chances are next time you fancy going to Bookshop event you’re going to have to be quick off the mark – audiences are now coming from all over the country and further afield. Amongst the crowds queuing at the crack of dawn for Mary’s 11am event last Sunday morning (27 Nov) were two who had flown from Northern Ireland. As for the Bob the Cat gig at Christ Church on Wednesday 30th, it drew an even bigger crowd with the church filled to overflowing. Of the many who had travelled a fair distance to see the favourite feline movie star and his mate James Bowen were two ladies form Croydon and a couple from Kent. Hard to say who was the most popular, Bob or Mary.
Yet another two competently run events by the whole Bookshop Team. Bedford Arms take note. Visitors from afar need handy accommodation.
