The clever young gardeners at CWPS led by Claire Davies have created a floral clock that not only looks pretty but is being used as a teaching aid for time telling

“ We used curved logs to create a circular border and 12 slices of tree trunk at the number positions with the numbers just painted on.

A group of sawn tree trunks form the centre of the clock . The children become the big hand and little hand and have to make the decision where they shuld lie to make the clock read a certain time. It works and it’s fun!”
