CFA has plenty lined up for arts enthusiasts including some inspired visits.

“We have some excellent trips coming up”  says Sue Formosa CFA Visits Secretary, “Our first visit next season is to the Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace where we have a guided tour of the fabulous exhibition Painting Paradise. Then after Christmas we are going to see St Mary’s Church Harefield ( main pic) which is an absolute gem, described as the Westminster Abbey of West Middlesex for its wealth of monuments, followed by lunch at The Old Orchard and the Battle of Britain bunker at Uxbridge.  One of the most popular visits next year will probably be the City Nooks and Crannies – a guided walk by the marvellous raconteur and lecturer Andrew Davies, When told that we were all getting older he said “don’t worry we will just sit a little more!” I am most looking forward to our trip to The Art and Palaces of Bolgna, Ferrara and Ravenna. It’s next June but will soon come round!”
