Chorleywood Common Youth FC was founded in 1976.

The club supports a total of 35 teams from age u7 to u18 playing in the Watford Friendly and West Herts Youth Leagues.

There is also a thriving Saturday morning Soccer School for u5 + u6s

CCYFC is one of the largest youth football clubs this side of the county, with a membership of almost 500 players.

A professional approach is taken irrespective of the level of football ability of the individual player. The club’s aim is to welcome all. There are often three squads at each age group, thus allowing for development at different rates.

All coaches and managers are volunteer parents, normally with a background of playing or a love of the game. They are very committed and enthusiastic people who give 100% effort to those in their care.

The club sponsors and encourages all its volunteers to attend various FA Coaching, Safeguarding Children and First Aid courses.

The club is located in the grounds of Chorleywood House and this is where most  home matches are played.

Parking is available on the approach to the pitches and there is a car park for referees and managers.

The alternative Home ground for 11-a-side teams is at St Clement Danes School where the club has use of both senior and junior sized pitches.

All teams train during the week at various local schools/colleges/leisure centres and some on Saturday mornings in the grounds of Chorleywood House.

The club would like to thank its all of its sponsors…  Macdonalds, Poores, Sewell and Gardner, Chipperfield Land Rover, Nteractive Consulting and Events, Sound Power Audio Visual, Jigsaw Construction, Eskimo Ice, HalcyonAV, Clearplan Project Management, Brian Yeardley Continental, GPF Lewis, Orbital Fasteners, Real Eyes, Tread Networks IT Support and Consultancy
