An Open Air Screening organised by Chorleywood Parish Council with the support of The Film Club winds up Commons Day on Saturday 10 September. The featured movie showing the recent Australian canine comedy drama, Oddball & The Penguins (Cert U) 96 mins.
The family film is loosely based on true events and will tug at your heartstrings. The plot centres around a mischievous sheepdog (Oddball) who, after causing havoc for the local townsfolk, is confined to his eccentric owner’s chicken farm. The farmer, with his granddaughter’s help, trains Oddball to help protect a penguin sanctuary from foxes. His determination to keep the seabirds from harm has a far-reaching effect
