Samantha Cole and Georgia Adey brighten up the village as much as the floral displays they create at Andrew Fleming Florist. And now both are moving on. Sam flies off this month to Australia to spend a year working, George leaves her job soon to become a Mum.

How long have you worked at Andrew F Florist?

Sam: Just over 7 years

Georgia: Just over 3 years

 What’s been the best part?

S: Getting to wear a flower crown at work, just because I can.

G: Being in a small village and getting our coffee every morning from Dave and Lauren

Both: Working with my best friend everyday.

What has made you laugh?

Both: Working late on Mothers Day/Valentines day with the radio turned up loud and us singing songs and changing lyrics

Any stresses, like bridezillas?

S: Brides are fine, grooms call ten times, not ok! My mantra is to make every bride believe theirs is the only wedding you are doing.

What will you miss?

G: We will miss our lovely regulars (shout out to Bernard!) and Morgan’s Deli of course

S: We will miss each other. It’s awesome that we are having our own adventures, but bittersweet that we will be apart when doing so.

G: We’ve already worked out time differences for Skype!

S: I have had to change my phone to get FaceTime

S: The secret dream is I’ll meet someone out there and then it’ll be free holidays for George for life.

G: its not a secret dream, we all want the same thing!

Sam flies on 13 October and works her last day on 6 October. George is due to push on Boxing Day. We wish them both the greatest of luck.
