Feast Festival
Weekend of food, drink and entertainment at Waddesdon Manor with 50 artisan food and wine stalls and featuring Root Camp teaching young people how to cook from field (fishing, foraging, farming) to table including flat breads and grilled koftas with salads and sauces (Ages 7-9, 10-13, 14-15 and 16-19).
The avenue in front of the Manor will be transformed with elaborately decorated tables, where visitors can take a seat and enjoy a picnic or sample some of the food on offer from one of our 50 handpicked artisan food and wine stalls. Admission during the Feast Weekend includes entry to the gardens, wine cellars, all entertainment and an opportunity to step into the Manor’s Red Drawing Room, opened up to show it as the Baron’s guests would have seen it. There will also be a free, specially devised trail to help families find out more about Waddesdon, the family who created it and the guests they entertained, and a free exhibition of new work inspired by Waddesdon created by ceramic artist Kate Malone (from BBC television’s Great Pottery Throw Down).
