There was much larking about  in the sun and sand at The Grove’s Urban Beach*, when Beach Boys inspired band Westcoast did a photo shoot to publicise their upcoming live show at Watford Colosseum on Saturday 18 July

The night will be packed with familiar foot-tapping hits including Good Vibrations, Fun, Fun, Fun, Surfin USA, Barbara Ann, God Only Knows, Surfin’ Safari, California Girls…and more!

The original and unique harmony sound of The Beach Boys is recreated by five vocalists who each sing at different pitches to make perfect harmonies, with Liam reaching the highest notes, James the deepest bass and Jonny, Paul and Stuart in between.

The lads are enjoying performing music that was at its height of popularity long before they were born.

“Good Vibrations is the best track ever to sing. There are so many classics but there are also a couple of numbers that we didn’t know that are really brilliant like Help me Rhonda.

The five guys’ personalities are as colourful as their floral Hawaiian shirts so expect a lively show.

” It’s a feel good celebration to Beach Boys music and a lot of fun” adds producer Jack Applebaum. The perfect summer sounds for a July evening!

* The Urban Beach is just one of the features in The Grove’s Walled Garden which also include tennis courts, a croquet lawn, a pool table in the Potting Shed and outdoor swimming pool. Roses ramble on the old walls, the vegetable garden and fruit trees provide the freshest raw ingredients for the venue’s restaurants and the long Potting Shed is full of antiques from Provence and England with plenty of huge armchairs. https://www.thegrove.co.uk/
