With ‘funny’ as their focus, Chorleywood Amateur Dramatics Society (CADS) generally perform comedies by the likes of Ayckbourn, Cooney and Coward. But for their March 2017 production they are shifting to something different.

Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson observes three sisters preparing for their mother’s funeral. Despite the sober premise, the play is extremely funny with moments of joy and pathos.

CADS are looking for new members, especially those interested in lighting, set design and sound. Experience not essential but welcome.

Director Mark Crumpler has visions using video, music and other effects.
