As Valentine’s Day approaches, Dogs Trust Harefield’s lovable Lurchers are looking for that special someone and a loving ‘furever’ home.
Cuddly Carter: Sweet, gentle soul seeks a cuddle.
This lively chap is seeking an active human who can stimulate him physically and mentally. A sensitive soul, he is looking for a calm and relaxing home. Traffic can make him nervous so a rural setting would be ideal. A lover of food, he will become your best friend if you give him a tasty treat! Six-year-old Carter is not a fan of cats, although he can live with children over the age of 11. Carter has spent over 800 days with Dogs Trust. Do you have room in your heart and home?
Fit Finn: Playful and spritely boy seeks kind and patient person.
This energetic boy is looking for someone to play with. An admirer of soft toys, this softy can be a little insecure at first so he will need a patient owner who can give him the time and space needed to adjust to his new surroundings. Two-year-old Finn likes to make friends with other four-legged chums and could live with another dog who could show him the ropes. Seeking a quiet yet active adult-only home, Finn is not a fan of cats. Content when travelling in the car, Finn loves to watch the world go by out of the window.
Luscious Lulu: Affectionate girl seeks attention and love.
Lulu loves to meet new humans and pooches alike. A keen learner, this lovely girl is quick at learning commands – especially for a tasty reward – and is seeking an owner who will continue her positive training. A lover of company, this lady is looking for her new owner to be around for the majority of time, with time left alone being built up gradually. Two-year-old Lulu would love a garden to call her own so she can let off steam whilst she learns recall. She can live with children over the age of six.
Wonderful Wilson: Happy chappy seeks snuggles on a sofa.
Confident and upbeat Wilson loves a good snuggle. Delighted by meeting new people, this friendly boy also likes to socialise with other canines. Exuberant on the lead due to his excitement, Wilson is seeking an owner who can continue to teach him basic commands, including recall, so he can run around off-lead to his heart’s content. One-year-old Wilson wants a home with his own garden, ideally with owners who have experience of this breed. Although Wilson loves his four-legged counterparts, he would prefer not to live with cats or caged furries. This upbeat chap would benefit from living in a quieter location, with children aged 12 years or above.

Fabulous Fezziwig: Enthusiastic lad seeks a fuss and a good adventure.
Full of energy, Fezziwig has a wonderful zest for life. A fan of a fuss, Fezziwig is equally keen on treats – which is useful for supporting him with training needs. This lively lad would benefit from an active home with owners who have the time and patience to help him settle into his new abode. This four-year-old agile boy has the ability to jump onto high surfaces so new owners would need to be mindful of food on kitchen work tops! Fezziwig’s favourite pastime is exploring outside and would love a human to join him on an adventure. He can live with teens 14 years and above.
