RASH LA ( 2.30pm – 3.05pm)
“A force of nature”, “A fugitive to the London music scene”, “an energetic and soulful performer”, all of these have been used to describe Rashid Alami and yet none come close to defining a musician approaching the form of his life.
One million Youtube hits collectively, performing in front of an audience of 30,000 people and a critically acclaimed movie soundtrack, for most these would be career defining highlights; something to tell the grand-kids about but then Rash isn’t most musicians, and he’s only just getting started…
You may have seen his powerful set at Chorleywood Christmas Festival – So expect more soulful, melodic driven music to soothe your soul. Ben Pinkus providing guitar, Janaki Anderson on beats and K88 the Architect providing the poetry.
If you don’t know Rash L.A by now, then maybe it’s time you got to know.
