There’s a summer tea party with fun and garden games at Pixie House, Heronsgate on Sunday 17 July to help youngsters of children of Ebenezer’s Children’s Home back to school wiht all they need
Chorleywood, led by local gardener Richard Field, have been supporting Ebenezer’s Children’s Home in Uganda for over five years and money raised from events and donations has gone towards a whole host of projects and equipment including building toilets, getting a sustainable water supply, upgrading kitchen facilities buying seeds and plants, organising effective irrigation and rainwater harvesting and animal pens.
“With new children coming into the home, more funds are needed for school uniforms, equipment, stationery and brooms! The children can only go to school if they pay fees. Plus they need mattresses, bedding and mosquito nets for thier homes.”
Plant sale, tea and cakes, garden games, raffle and tombola.
