Of the scores of fund raisers that happen every year on our patch three upcoming events are arguably the most effective when it comes to making their mark and being enjoyed and appreciated by the wider community

1. MUSIC BY TWILIGHT

WHAT?

Outdoor evening picnic concert with live music. This year is the sixteenth and final event

WHO?

WHEN?

Saturday 28 July, 6.30pm for 8pm start.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A top notch outdoor concert featuring a line-up of entertaining acts and West End quality sound, lighting and video projection. This year’s programme is headlined by the Mick Flinn Band and Blues Brothers Banned who return to the stage for this last event by popular demand along with a few surprise guests. Top local unsigned artists perform on an intimate satellite stage early evening to set the mood while the audience enjoy their picnics.  

 

2. CHORLEYWOOD CLASSIC CAR SHOW

WHAT?

The seventh Classic Car Show. All day. More info at

CHARITY

Varies from year to year. Last year and this year Peace Hospice Care with a small donation to the Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club for use of Club House and grounds.

Tea Rooms, Jon Hooper’s Jazz Band, BBQ & Old Shepherd Bar Picnic Area and more
