It’s feet up time for four fundraisers who have just completed a sponsored walk around The London LOOP (London Outer Orbital Path)  in aid of The Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys. Francis West, along with Carlton Patterson, Dick Morgan and Keith Hulme ( plus Derek Wallington driving a support van), set off on the 152 mile circular trail around the city on Thursday 2 June at 10am from Moor Park and finished on Wednesday 8 June, walking on average 25 miles a day. The men are three quarters of the way towards their £5000 target. The London LOOP route crosses countryside, city parks and suburbia but one of the prettiest stretches, and the nearest section to us, takes walkers along the Grand Union Canal from Denham and up towards Harefield past The Coy Carp pub.
