Seven students from St Clement Danes turned out to help paint a Hamelin backdrop for the end of term Pied Piper production at Russell School in July. Led by fourteen year old Florence Illingworth Law who designed the scene, the team worked swiftly and efficiently to get it set up in time.

“ It was a big show with a 60 strong cast as there was a double intake of children in that year –  there are usually 30!” says Christine Deeley who organised the mission . “It was so lovely for the girls, many ex Russell pupils, to get involved, it was a big job involving much climbing up and down of ladders and the finished piece gave a professional edge to the show! The show was amazing, congratulations to the Y6 team for a fantastic evening”
