Three young Chorleywood runners did brilliantly at Hertfordshire Primary Schools’ Cross Country Championship held in Verulam Park, St. Albans recently. Identical Twins Euan and Archie, along with best friend John, entered as a Y5 Christ Church team and came 2nd out of the 158 competitors – Euan came 6th, John 19th and Archie 23rd, making Euan a top 10 finisher and qualified to run for Herts at the Nationals later in the year.
“Euan and Archie are keen on sport.” says mum Heather, “Last summer they started at Chorleywood Youth Football Club which they absolutely love, they can’t get to the pitch fast enough every week! Their coach said “It’s handy that they run so fast – when they get going it really helps move that ball up the field.”
